Grainger aims to win double, then quadruple

KATHERINE Grainger, Scotland's three-times Olympic silver medallist, has set herself a tough challenge today, when she races in two finals at the Rowing World Cup in Bled, Slovenia, in just over an hour.

Grainger's main boat class will be double sculls, in which she rows with fellow Olympic and world medallist Anna Watkins, but the pair are also racing in the quadruple sculls, taking on the reigning world champions from Ukraine

The doubles final includes two Chinese crews, each with an Olympic champion aboard. However, Grainger will feel confident after she and Watkins led Friday's heat from the off.
