Graham Stack in the dark over Hibs future

Hibernian goalkeeper Graham Stack admits he has yet to be told if he has a future at Easter Road.

The two-year deal he signed during John Hughes tenure as manager expires this summer, but Stack is keen to remain at the club having settled in Edinburgh with his family.

Current manager Colin Calderwood has said the majority of players coming to the end of their contracts have been told their fate, but Stack is still seeking answers.

Stack's won't play again this season after undergoing shoulder surgery, but the 29-year-old is confident he'll be ready for the start of next term.

He said: "I'm in the dark with regards to what is happening with a new contract. I have not heard anything on that front.

"I would love to stay here. Everyone knows how happy I am here and settled here and, if I was to move on, the chances are I would have to uproot the family again.

"Now that it's been confirmed that we can't make the top six hopefully the club will start talks with the players that have still to be told. I've not spoken to anyone upstairs to find out if there is going to be any offer or anything like that. I'm keen to stay, but I'm just waiting to hear."
