Woodland to be named after 2014 Ryder Cup winner

The conservation charity Woodland Trust Scotland’s Glen Devon Woodlands are just a few miles away from the famous golf course where the tournament will be played in September.
The dedicated area within Geordie’s Wood will be named either Watson’s or McGinley’s Grove after the captain of the American or European team.

“The new woodland in Glen Devon is coming on really well and the way marked trails we have created to help people explore and enjoy this landscape are really popular with walkers and mountain bikers.”
