One of the world’s leading golf events, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, returns to Scotland from September 26-29. A truly international championship, it is a magnet for golfers from every corner of the world and is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the European Tour.

Played on three great links courses - the Old Course St Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie - a strong international field including defending champion Branden Grace, Paul Casey, Louis Oosthuizen, Darren Clarke, Martin Kaymer, Padraig Harrington, Ernie Els and Paul Lawrie is set to compete in this year’s tournament.

What makes this tournament unique for spectators is the list of top amateur golfers from the worlds of entertainment, sport and business playing alongside the professionals. Film and TV stars Andy Garcia, Hugh Grant and Kyle MacLachlan and sporting heroes Sir Steve Redgrave, Johan Cruyff, Jamie Rednapp, Tim Henman and Shane Warne have all taken part.
