Three generations of Scottish golfing family hit hole-in-one
There's nothing that beats the joy of recording a hole-in-one and, defying the odds, that special feat has been savoured by three generations of the one family within the space of a month.
Davie Rennie, who is 85, started the ball rolling when he aced the 15th hole at Harburn in West Lothian with a 7-iron.

And, soon after that, Davie's grandson, 23-year-old Ritchie Rutherford, completed the hat-trick of holes-in-one at the 227-yard 17th at Torwoodlee, near Galashiels, using a 4-iron.
"What are the chances of three generations of the one family each getting a hole-in-one within a month?" asked Richard Rennie, Davie's other son.
"The day my dad got his hole-in-one he should probably have been helping his wife celebrating the milestone birthday she reached that day.

Earlier in the year, a golfer recorded his first hole-in-one - with his first shot after the coronavirus lockdown.
Ed Sandison's spectacular return to a golf course after a seven-week shutdown of venues in the UK came at Styal Golf Club in Cheshire.
That was followed by a tale of double delight at Clober Golf Club on the day Scottish courses reopened as Stuart Gallagher and Alan Gillies both hit aces at the Milngavie venue.
