Tartan Tour: Graham Fox wins at Aboyne Golf Club

He nipped past clubhouse leader Greig McBain (Gamola Golf) to snatch the first prize of £996 by a one-stroke margin from the Aberdonian. McBain earend £797. Greig Hutcheon, playing probably as near where he was brought up as he can get on the Tartan Tour, finished third with a 63.

Hutcheon led the winning amateur team to victory with an 18-under-par net total of 118. The “Enquest” team comprised Jim Paterson (handicap 18), Ross Bremner (7) and Craig Donnelly (18).

Meanwhile, Paul O’Hara (Clydeway Golf) had a ten at the par-4 seventh hole but still qualified with ease for the Kerr Investments Order of Merit Pro-am at Dumfries and Galloway.
