Scramble for places at Highland Pro–Am

AMATEUR GOLF: The Scottish Golf Union has launched a free-to-enter event offering the chance to play in the Scottish Hydro Challenge Pro-Am at Spey Valley.

The “Highland Scramble”, part of a new sponsorship deal with Scottish Hydro, provides a unique chance for club members to play alongside a leading Team Scottish Hydro Tour professional on 19 June.

Four regional qualifiers will take place across the Highlands in May and June, with the leading team at each event going on to the Pro-Am.

Brora and Pitlochry host qualifiers on 11 May with another at Fortrose & Rosemarkie a day later. The last is at Elgin on 2 June.

The events will take the form of a Texas Scramble and are open to men, women, boys and girls.
