Golf: Time for taster

HADDINGTON are hoping to attract some new members at an Open Day being held at the East Lothian club on Saturday.

Tee times are available for just 10 and that will be refunded if visitors like what they see and take out a membership.

Swanston New held a similar event last weekend, when club staff and officials held various events geared towards filling some full and five-day memberships, with a "new, friendlier direct debit scheme" currently on offer there.
