Golf: Forrest out

GRANT FORREST, the Scottish Boys' champion from Craigielaw, has withdrawn from the Golf Data Lab Scottish Youths' Championship starting tomorrow at Monifieth due to exams at Stewart's Melville.

Simon Mackenzie (1989), Raymond Russell (1992) and Stephen Gallacher (1994) all lifted this title and Marriott Dalmahoy's Tom Blennerhasset, Olly Huish of North Berwick, Stuart Boyle of Harburn and Glencorse's Sean McGarvey are among those aiming to add to Lothians' success over the 72 holes.
