Golf: Baberton go Inter battle

BABERTON are the defending champions in the Edinburgh Ladies' Inter-Club tournament which tees off tonight at Monktonhall. The title holders, who beat Lothianburn in the final at Murrayfield 12 months ago, face Liberton in the first round.

Order of play: Monktonhall v Torphin Hill, Broomieknowe v Turnhouse, Lothianburn v Ratho Park, Prestonfield v Glencorse, Murrayfield v Craigmillar Park, Newbattle v Merchants, Kingsknowe v Royal Musselburgh, Baberton v Liberton.
