Capital caddies bag title hat-trick around the world
Stuart Davidson, who plays his golf at Royal Burgess and proudly owns a yardage book cover with a Hearts crest on it, sparked the winning spree.
It came alongside former Scottish Open champion Min Woo Lee as the Australian pulled off a wire-to-wire victory in the Macau Open on the Asian Tour.

Hide AdLee’s third worldwide win was his first since linking up with Davidson, who picked up the coveted bag after learning his trade on the DP World Tour.
Win No 2 came on the Ladies European Tour, where Gorebridge man Gary Marshall was on Aline Krauter’s bag as the German landed her maiden title with victory in the Hero Women’s Indian Open.
Marshall, who calls himself the ‘Tartan Caddy’ on social media, had previously helped Korean Mi Jung Hur win the Women’s Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club in 2019.
The notable title hat-trick was completed on the same day as Stuart Beck, who hails from Eskbank, helped Pole Adrian Meronk win the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters on the DP World Tour.

Hide AdIt was Meronk’s fourth win on the circuit since last July and all of them have been achieved with Beck, who gave up a prosperous career in the finance world to become a full-time caddie, at his side.
“Stu Davidson and I are mates,” said Marshall, “but, even though we were both members at Broomieknowe, I don’t know Stuart Beck.”
