Golf: Young double

NORTH BERWICK'S Clara Young, who also claimed the May Medal, completed an East Lothian Girls' double by winning the Summer Meeting at the Glen.

A 77 secured the scratch spoils on this occasion after Young had shot a 74 at Kilspindie to pip Keren Ward in the previous event.

Craigielaw's Rosie Everett won the handicap in the Summer Meeting, the 13-handicapper pipping Nandini Nagra of Kilspindie on a countback after both shot net 70s, one less than Charlotte Munro (Gullane Ladies).
