Golf: Win a breeze for Russell

ARCHERFIELD ace Chris
Russell proved the top
wind-tamer to win yesterday’s Edinburgh & East of Scotland Alliance event at Craigielaw.

The son of Archerfield course designer DJ Russell claimed the Paterson Medal with a splendid three-under-par 68.

He finished four shots ahead of Gordon Law (Uphall), with Dunbar’s Neil Fenwick a
further shot back in third.
