Golf: West make most of home advantage to top the table

In their latest round, Jimmy Lamond’s men made the most of home advantage to beat Mid 6…-3… at Greenburn with the top match seeing Lothians champion Alan Anderson and David Miller throw birdies at each other over the first five holes before the latter went on to give the visitors a flying start.

But West’s remaining top order players produced the goods, with Graham Robertson, Gary Corrigan and Keith Reily all securing vital wins.
