GOlf: Turner makes Alliance bow

CRAIGIELAW’S Jane Turner made her Edinburgh & East of Scotland Alliance debut in yesterday’s event at Musselburgh.

The Scottish international shot a 78 playing off the same tees as the men on a Monktonhall course playing its full length.

Turner is the second leading Scottish player to turn to an Alliance for some winter competition after Laura Murray played on the North-East circuit last year.
