Golf: Trophy bid

THREE Lothians players have travelled south to play in the Lytham Trophy, which starts tomorrow over next year's Open Championship course in Lancashire.

Dunbar's Zander Culverwell will be hoping to maintain the form that saw him win the Battle Trophy less than a fortnight ago. And he is being joined in the biggest amateur event of the season so far by Kingsknowe's Allyn Dick and Greg Nicolson of Mortonhall.
