Golf: Siblings slip

THE brother and sister pairing of Karen and Stephen Marshall came close to winning the Scottish Mixed Foursomes Championship for a second time.

After lifting the title two years ago - the last time the event was played - the Baberton duo were in the frame again at Haggs Castle. They shot a 73 in an alternate shot format to finish third, two shots behind winners Louise Kenney and Paul Shields.
