Golf: Senior success

TURNHOUSE retained the Edinburgh Senior Inter-Club title after beating hosts Merchants in the final.

Lindsay Gordon, David Gillespie and Colin Ballantine were the winning team for the second year running, with Bill Huish proving an able replacement for Alastair Taylor.

After wins over Liberton and Duddingston, Turnhouse beat Prestonfield in the semi-finals then won the final 10 and 8.
