Golf: Senior service

THE seniors' golf circuit is thriving and now a new 36-hole event is being added to the schedule for over-65s.

The Scottish Seniors Golfing Society will stage the event at Stirling July 29-30 and it is not restricted to SSGS members.

Entries are invited from male amateurs who are 65 on the competition date and who have a handicap of 12.4 or less.
