Golf: Pair pipped

CAPITAL duo Ian Taylor and Mike Power were pipped for top spot in the inaugural Tullibardine Doubles event at Haddington and The Glen.

Graham Bell and Richard Scott were the scratch winners with a total of 139, one less than Taylor and Power, with Mike Robson and Robert Jack a further shot behind.

Brian Inglis and TC Davidson won the handicap event with a net total of 133.2.
