Golf: Munro bags

GULLANE girl Charlotte Munro is heading to Gleneagles after winning the opening Regional Final of the Highland Spring Junior Masters at Whitecraigs.

She stormed home in 22 points to edge out Blairbeth's Alexandra Duffy for top spot courtesy of the better inward half after both girls played impressive golf to score 37 Stableford points.

Her reward is a place in the Highland Spring Junior Masters Final, which takes place over the Queen's Course at Gleneagles in October.
