DUNCAN IRELAND of Duddingston won the Sir Harry Lauder golf trophy last night after a thrilling extra hole victory over defending champion, Iain Randall (Silverknowes).

Deadlock was eventually broken at the 21st which Ireland won with a par-4. Meanwhile, the Portobello club's internal Brand Trophy went to Scott Bonyage.
