Golf: Herd into Grand Final

MUSSELBURGH'S Jane Herd has qualified for the Scottish Ladies' Golfing Association's Regional Medal Grand Final at Crieff in September.

The six-handicapper finished second in the Silver Division in the East regional medal final at Pitreavie, where she progressed along with Dianne Watson (Lundin Ladies), Annie Evans (Craigie Hill) and Heather Gough (Kinross).
