Golf: Gardner tops

THREE Lothians players finished in the top ten in the 2010 Scottish Senior Order of Merit.

Broomieknowe's David Gardner took pride of place as he secured fourth spot, followed by West Lothian's Alan O'Neill (6th) and Royal Burgess man Ian Taylor (joint-8th).

O'Neill shared top spot in the Finals Day at Blairgowrie, carding a 72 to finish a shot ahead of Lindsay Gordon (Turnhouse), Ken Davidson (Musselburgh) and John Fraser (Royal Burgess).
