Golf: Fenwick is top of Shotts
The Dunbar trainee, who led after day one with a course record 63, closed with rounds of 67 and 73 for a seven-under par 203 and a three-stroke victory over defending champion, Graham Fox of East Kilbride.
Fenwick had powered into an eight-shot advantage over the opening 36 holes and, despite slipping to a three-over par final round, the East Lohian man still coasted to the 700 top prize. Fox hit rounds of 68 and 67 on the final day to take the runners-up spot while Edinburgh's former European Challenge Tour winner David Patrick, last year's Scottish Assistants' champion, claimed third place on 208.
