Golf: Fairnie to lead

DUNBAR'S Emma Fairnie, the county champion, will spearhead the East Lothian team for the East Division Women's Inter-County event at Royal Musselburgh at the end of next month.

She'll join forces in the four-cornered event with Lesley Atkins (Gullane), Ruth Carroll (Musselburgh), Linda Grieve (Musselburgh), Fiona Prior (Gullane), Mary Lou Renton (Gifford), Keren Ward (The Glen) and Clara Young (North Berwick).

Midlothian will be defending the East title.
