Golf: Campbell aids McLeary win

FORMER Scottish Challenge winner Jamie McLeary’s late search for a partner came up trumps in the Edinburgh & East of Scotland Alliance invitational greensomes at Winterfield.

He ended up joining forces with Colin Campbell and, on a breezy day on the East
Lothian coast, the pair landed the
Richardson & Brownlee Trophy with net 63.6 off 4.4.

Uphall pair Ron Comber John McDermott finished second on 64.2, followed by the Millars, Andrew and Peter of Musselburgh, on 65.6.
