Glasgow 2014: Strathmore launches get fit campaign

Strathmore, the official water providers of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, has teamed up with three Team Scotland hopefuls in the lead up to July’s sports extravaganza.

Libby Clegg, Robbie Renwick and Dan Keatings are collaborating with the firm to inspire people to get more active and into the sporting spirit, regardless of age or ability.

To motivate Scotland to get out and Do More, Strathmore has unveiled three short inspirational films about the athletes’ journeys to their biggest competition to date – the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Meet Libby and guide runner Mikhail Huggins, Dan and Robbie and see how they Do More in their chosen sports.

Libby Clegg, 24, from Edinburgh is a Paralympic sprinter. She suffers from Stargardt’s Muscular Dystrophy, a deteriorating eye condition. Despite this she has a Paralympic Games silver medal and World and European Championships gold medals to her name.

Robbie Renwick, 26, from Glasgow, won gold for the 200m freestyle at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and is hoping for a repeat performance on his home turf.

Dan Keatings, 24, has won eight British All Around titles, and took gold for the pommel at the 2010 European Championships and 2008 Gymnastics World Cup.
