George Burley axed by Crystal Palace
Fellow Scot Dougie Freedman has been appointed caretaker boss of a side that last won on 27 November and are second from bottom in the Championship table.
Burley was appointed Palace boss last June after the London club were bought by the CPFC 2010 consortium.

Burley succeeded Paul Hart after the club was saved from going bust by Steve Parish and Martin Long. But the owners ran out of patience with him after a dismal display against Millwall.
