Fraserburgh's Forres warning

ALAN Hale ended an eight-year wait to beat Deveronvale – and then warned the optimism sweeping over Fraserburgh after their fifth win on the trot was misplaced: The 21-year-old, said: "We cannot afford to look beyond next week's game against Forres."

Fraserburgh's away win was triggered by goals from Jonathan Garden after five minutes and Hale's penalty six minutes from the end. Paul Urquhart scored for the home side in 59 minutes.

Elsewhere, Buckie Thistle stayed three points ahead of champions Cove Rangers after a 3-0 home win over Turriff United. Cove Rangers had a 2-0 win over visitors Fort William while

Lossiemouth and Keith shared the points after a 2-2 draw.

In the only other game to survive the weather, Wick entertained Nairn in a re-arranged fixture but drew 0-0.
