WE’VE all seen moments of madness on the football field. Wild lunges, dodgy tackles and just plain old handbags.

But Worcester City defender Shab Khan took things to a different level during yesterday’s 2-0 win over Stockport County - by picking an opponent up and bodyslamming him to the ground after a rash challenge.

The 29-year-old - who has played over 180 matches for Worcester City, was fouled by Stockport’s Charlie Russell in the dying seconds of the Conference North match between the two clubs at Aggborough - the ground Worcester share with Conference outfit Kidderminster.

Khan - who has nine caps for Pakistan - was shown a straight red card as Worcester were reduced to ten men. Stockport were already a man down after striker Jack Ryan had been sent off for two yellow cards - one for a foul on Khan.

Video footage shows a Stockport player dragging Khan away from Russell after he appears to aim a kick at his opponent.

Russell copped a booking for the initial foul.
