FILM: THE BLACK PANTHERS: VANGUARD OF THE REVOLUTION

Belmont Filmhouse will be screening an acclaimed documentary by Stanley Nelson examining the Black Panther political movement in 1960s America. Featuring interviews with those directly involved in the movement itself as well as reels of insightful archive footage, Vanguard Of The Revolution offers its audience a front-row seat of the fraught racial tensions of that period.

Edinburgh’s creative hub celebrates the upcoming Christmas season with lashings of booze at their third annual winter beer festival. The event will welcome a number local brewers including Williams Brothers, Barney’s and Pickering’s Gin, all accompanied by food stalls and live DJs, too.
