How to watch Hibs v Celtic
Celtic will look to give interim manager Martin O’Neill a winning send-off when they travel to Edinburgh to face Hibs this weekend.
The 73-year-old, who previously managed the club between 2000 and 2005, was brought back on a caretaker basis last month following the resignation of Brendan Rodgers and has delivered five wins from six matches.
O’Neill will take charge for the final time at Easter Road on Sunday with incoming manager Wilfried Nancy from Columbus Crew set to take over next week.
Celtic go into the match on a high following a famous Europa League triumph over Feyenoord in Rotterdam on Thursday. The 3-1 win was Celtic’s first away from home in Europe for four years and the first in the Netherlands since O’Neill masterminded a victory over Ajax in 2001.
Hibs will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing midweek defeat to Motherwell. The 2-0 reverse, which saw defender Grant Hanley sent off in the first half, was the third defeat suffered by David Gray’s side in the league this season - the other two coming against Hearts and Rangers.
Hibs are third in the table and can close to within two points of second-placed Celtic with a victory.
