The 18-year-old Larsson Jr has scored ten goals in fifty appearances for his father since he made his debut against Orebro SK in July 2014. His first goal for the club was in a 3-0 victory over Atvidabergs FF in June last season.

It is possible that Larsson Jr could follow Larsson Sr back to Celtic Park, with the current Helsingborgs head coach being linked with the vacant managerial post in Glasgow after Ronny Deila announced he was to leave the club at the end of the season.

The victory for Helsingborgs has lifted them to fifth in the Allesvenskan, with only six games played. In his first season as manager last year, Larsson Sr led the Reds to an eighth placed finish.
