At the centre of the celebrations was centre-back Kolo Toure, who danced while the rest of the team sang the “Toure song”.

The chant, first created by Manchester City supporters, references both the Ivorian defender and his brother Yaya Toure.

A clip of the celebrations was uploaded by Celtic on to the club’s official Twitter account. It’s also received close to 10,000 retweets.

Celtic clinched the title in emphatic style, defeating Hearts thanks to goals from Stuart Armstrong, Partick Roberts and a hat-trick for Scott Sinclair.
