Police investigating the trouble that marred the end of the Scottish Cup final have arrested a further two men.

Forty arrests have so far been made across Scotland since the match between Hibernian and Rangers on May 21.

Hibernian supporters flooded the Hampden pitch after the Edinburgh side’s dramatic 3-2 win, while Rangers fans also made it past stewards and on to the turf before mounted officers restored order.

At the weekend, Police Scotland released 13 images of fans on the pitch at Hampden as they continued their investigation.
