Third Division: Ten-men Elgin keep promotion push alive

CLYDE took the lead after half-an-hour when Mark Nicolson turned a cross into his own net.

But Stuart Leslie equalised five minutes later before Elgin were reduced to ten men when David Niven was sent off in the second half. But Leslie struck again in 81 minutes to win it.

Annan Athletic 2, Queen’s Park 3

Queen’s Park took the lead after 25 minutes from Tony Quinn’s penalty.

Anthony McParland made it 2-0 early in the second half and Aidan Connolly made it three with his left boot. Andy Donley headed a late goal for Annan and Michael Daly pulled back another.

Berwick Rangers 1, Peterhead 1

Peterhead’s reward for early pressure came midway through the first half when Scott McLaughlin converted Rory McAllister’s pass. Darren Lavery shot a 58th-minute equaliser from a Dean Hoskins’ cross and was denied a second by goalkeeper Graeme Smith.
