Stirling Albion player-manager Greig McDonald fears for his future after Friday night’s 2-1 defeat from Queen’s Park.

The Forthbank side, who are bottom of the Third Division after only two wins, looked on course for a point at Hampden until McDonald conceded a last-gasp penalty converted by Tony Quinn.

McDonald said: “My mistake meant that we left with nothing and it could have wider implications for me. There is pressure on me because of our league position and that defeat could be the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

East Stirlingshire have brought in Welsh youth international Jordan Holt on a month-long loan from St Mirren and the 18-year-old will make his debut today against Berwick Rangers at Ochilview. Holt comes in as Sean Kelly returns to St Mirren at the end of his loan period.
