Unsettled Miller could return

Scotland striker Kenny Miller has revealed that he would consider a move back to the UK after finding it difficult to settle at Bursaspor in Turkey. The former Rangers star has two years left on his contract, but said: "Things change in football and if opportunities arise when you are in a contract then you have to look at them." He added: "The family find it hard as well (in Turkey). That makes it even more difficult. Money isn't everything, and that sums it up." (Daily Record)

Russians target Samaras

Russian giants Lokomotiv Moscow are preparing a 3million-plus bid for Celtic striker Georgios Samaras. Head coach Yuri Krasnozhan is keeping tabs on the 26-year-old Greek international, who signed a new three-year deal a few months ago. Celtic stand to earn three times what they paid for Samaras in 2008 if they choose to sell. (The Sun)

• Celtic have dropped their interest in Dutch youngster Alex Schalk. The NAC Breda player had been on trial at Lennoxtown. (Various)

Two sacked and two suspended at Ibrox

Bitter acrimony broke out at Rangers yesterday as the new regime dismantled the old board with the removal of the chairman and a director, and the suspension of the chief executive and another director. (The Scotsman)

• Rangers are targeting Ghana's World Cup star John Mensah if Lyon are willing to let him go. The player's agent confirmed the interest from the Ibrox club in Mensah, who is due to return to the French club after finishing a second season long loan with Sunderland. (The Sun)

• El-Hadji Diouf has repeated his desire to remain at Rangers. He said: "As for my future in Rangers, things are looking good. Blackburn staying up was one of the main factors. Hopefully it will be sorted as soon as - I'm 100 per cent for it." (The Sun)

• Rangers have also been linked with Israeli striker Tomer Hemed. The Maccabi Haifa hitman, 24, is available on a Bosman with his contract running out. (The Sun)

• Aberdeen boss Craig Brown has warned Rangers they won't land Richard Foster on a cut-price deal. Foster has been a success at Ibrox since joining on loan, and Brown said he will be looking for a "substantial fee" if Ally McCoist wants to keep him. (Daily Record)

Hearts set to reveal four new signings

Hearts are set to unveil a surprise four man signing swoop on their SPL rivals today. Jim Jefferies has won the race to sign Motherwell striker John Sutton despite interest from English clubs. In addition, the Tynecastle boss has also completed the signings of Aberdeen defender Zander Diamond, former St Johnstone left-back Danny Grainger and Kilmarnock right-back Jamie Hamill. It is understood that Kilmarnock midfielder Mehdi Taouil could follow them. (The Sun)
