The 22-year-old defender, who is expected to sign a four year contract, turned down a move to Barcelona to become Neil Lennon's most high-profile signing since taking the Celtic manager job, the Sun reports.
Wage demands could scupper Bullard deal
JIMMY Bullard's loan move to Celtic could hit the rocks because of the players wage demands (Daily Mail). The Hull City midfielder wants Celtic to stump up 30,000 per week in addition to the 45,000 per week he is due under the terms of his Hull City contract. "The deal is dead as far as we're concerned," said Hull City Director of Football Adam Pearson.
Zal to hold Hearts talks
Hearts captain Marius Zaliukas is to hold talks with Jim Jefferies over his future at the club (Express). The Lithuanian's Tynecastle contract expires in December and Jefferies is unlikely to retain the player as captain if he intends to leave on a Bosman.
