Hearts won yesterday’s match at Tynecastle by four clear goals, bringing to end Celtic’s 69-game unbeaten domestic run in spectacular fashion.
William Hill reported that one punter placed money on the highly-unlikely score, with odds of 200-to-one.

“It was quite a remarkable result and just one punter, from Glasgow no less, backed 4-0 at 200/1,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
“It is a nice little early Christmas present of £1000 for one punter from Glasgow. Even more so if they are a Rangers fan.”
As the bet was placed on a self-service terminal, the identity of the punter cannot be revealed until they go to collect their winnings.

Another punter, Liam Ross Campbell, placed a £1 bet on the scoreline with SkyBet. Long odds of 250/1 bagged him £251, including his stake.
And, most impressive of all, Hibs fan Raymond Mills, was brash enough to place £10 on the once-in-a-lifetime result.
Bet365 offered Mr Mills remote odds of 500/1 that would have earned him a whopping £5010, including his stake.
However, when Hearts’ fourth goal went in Raymond admits his ‘bottle went’ and cashed out.

The 4-0 triumph was the first time the Jambos had scored four against Celtic since 1972, and their biggest league victory in this fixture since 1895.
