Strollers in late comeback

CIVIL Service Strollers scored three late goals in their Central Taxis Premier Division game to secure a 3-2 victory against Preston Athletic. Kevin Haynes and Craig Manson had put Preston ahead before Neil Campbell, Alan Wilson and John Dunn netted in the last ten minutes for the Strollers.

Heriot Watt University defeated Selkirk 3-2. Iain Fyfe, Michael Connor and Jamie Brown netted for the students while Michael Romanes and Ryan Clapperton scored for Selkirk.

Edinburgh City beat Coldstream 6-0 with goals from Dougie Gair, Jordan Caddow, Andy Howat, Peter Stenhouse, Daniel Denholm and Ross Guthrie.

Tynecastle drew 0-0 with Edinburgh University.

In the First Division, leaders Craigroyston beat Peebles 3-2, Vale of Leithen beat Easthouses Lily 3-1 and Leith Athletic hammered Hawick Royal Albert 10-0. In the SFA South Region Challenge Cup quarter-finals, Spartans, Gretna 2008 and Stirling University all won.
