Stranraer hope Moore falls short

STRANRAER legend Michael Moore will call time on his career at Stair Park at the end of the season – and the club hopes he does not reach a 300-game landmark before he goes.

Moore has played for the Blues in three separate spells in a career that started at Hamilton in 1998. He has played 297 games and scored 94 times for the Galloway side. A win in their last league match over Stenhousemuir on Saturday would mean Stranraer avoiding the relegation play-offs and leave Moore two games away from the 300-game milestone.
