Stephen McManus undecided over Celtic future

ON-LOAN Celtic defender Stephen McManus will make a decision on his future at the Parkhead club after talking with Neil Lennon and Gordon Strachan.

The Scotland international (pictured) has impressed Middlesborough manager Gordon Strachan during his time at the Riverside and the Boro boss is understood to be keen maintaining his services.

However, Parkhead interim boss Lennon indicated that if he got the job on a permanent basis, he would like the Scotland international to play a part in his plans next season.

McManus, who scored his first goal for Boro this week in the 2-0 win at Plymouth, said: "I've certainly enjoyed my time on a personal level and we'll see what happens.

"It's a great bunch of players and we'll see how it goes.

"We'll sit down in the summer with Gordon Strachan, me and Neil Lennon and see what's happening.

"I'm here to do a job. I'm contracted here until the end of the season and I'll give it my best shot.

"I'll give 110% every week."
