St Pauli send man with cardboard face to player unveiling

Instead of allowing striker Marvin Ducksch to simply pose for photos alone, the Hamburg-based club decided instead to have a man stand beside him wearing a Ewald Lienen mask.
To be fair to St Pauli, they didn’t try to deceive anyone and were well aware of the joke, posting a close-up picture of the mask alongside the images of Ducksch on the club’s Twitter feed.

Hide AdThe 22-year-old attacker joins the club from Borussia Dortmund. Judging by his facial expression, he wasn’t all that pleased to have his unveiling overshadowed by someone with a bit of cardboard on their face.
