St Mirren sign Callum Ball from Derby

Saints announced the 21-year-old had signed a one-year contract with the option of a further year.

Ball made 31 appearances for Derby but has more first-team experience from loan spells with Coventry, Torquay and Notts County.

The forward struck five times in friendlies against Blyth Spartans and Whitley Bay, the second of which the Buddies won 10-0.
