St Johnstone’s Wright offered two match elbow ban

ST JOHNSTONE defender Frazer Wright has been offered a two-match ban for an alleged elbow on Celtic’s Mikael Lustig.

Wright has been issued with the notice of complaint by the Scottish Football Association’s compliance officer following Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to newly-crowned Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions.

The former Kilmarnock defender, who also scored an own goal in the defeat, is alleged to have breached Rule 200 and has been charged with violent conduct as a result of the incident.

Wright has until this afternoon to respond to the notice of complaint, and a principal hearing date has been set for tomorrow.
