St Johnstone sign former Dundee United striker Francisco Sandaza

St Johnstone have added another striker to their squad by snapping up former Dundee United forward Francisco Sandaza.

The Spaniard has signed a one-year contract with the Clydesdale Bank Premier League club.

The 26-year-old scored 11 goals in two seasons at Tannadice, although injuries restricted his appearances, before joining Brighton a year ago.

Sandaza scored four goals in 19 appearances for the npower League One champions.

St Johnstone have now signed three strikers in less than a week following the arrivals of Cillian Sheridan and Marcus Haber.

Carl Finnigan and Sean Higgins signed for Saints earlier in the summer.
