Not this again. . . Saturday’s game was reminiscent of periods during last season where we created enough chances but just failed miserably to take any of them.

This time, we were undone by Dunfermline’s only real attack of the game, with Andy Kirk doing with one chance what our players couldn’t do with a series of them – hitting the net.

We had a great chance from the penalty spot after John Potter upended the lively Francisco Sandaza.

Inexplicably, Liam Craig has started this season as our designated penalty taker – even though he hits them all badly in the same place.

Hopefully, that responsibility will be passed on to someone else in the squad as soon as possible.
