SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

SATURDAY at Tynecastle pretty much summed up our season. We were in control for the first half hour or so and only had one goal to show for all our dominance. Then we lost a sloppy goal and suddenly everything changed and we were staring a cup exit in the face

For once we managed to find an equaliser and will deservedly have another chance to make the semi-finals. Any disappointment at not getting through at the first time of asking immediately vanished at the site of Craig Beattie almost bursting into tears live on TV.

It made a change that we managed to bag a couple of goals at Tynecastle and hopefully we can continue that against St Johnstone this weekend. We desperately need a league win – although the top six is all but gone – and a victory would set us up perfectly for the cup replay.
